It was good to see Rick M. from Cross Creek Church today. He came to see me about a policy that he has with another agency. He called the Insurance Company because he had a service question,a nd he could not get his question answered by the agency. The Company told him to come to Kerry Wilson Insurance and request an Agent Record Letter to change to Kerry Wilson Insurance, so he did. We also quoted another policy for him that he has with the "lizard" company. It looks like we can save him about $100 per year.

Another lady called for a quote for her grandson who is 20 years old. We quoted him 197/mo on a Mustang. She said she was quoted over $400 per month by her direct writing Company. She was really happy, and said she is coming in tomorrow.

Another customer Victor G. came in and got a homeowner quote for his friend who has his home insured with a direct writing Company. The came in again at 5:00 and we insured the friends house. Thanks for the referral Victor.

Thanks for another referral from Adrian who sent his cousin Jason in for a policy today.

Wow! Another guy called us from Demopolis and purchased an SR22 policy. How many insurance agencies are there between Gadsden and Demopolis? Thanks for the business!

Helped 2 customers get insurance today. One from Ronnie Watkins.

I had the pleasure of helping 2 customers obtain insurance today. One was from Ronnie Watkins. Thanks to Alex Hudson, for sending S. Whitehead to my office. It was good to see Jaurus, and Jerome, and Carl, while I was at Ronnie Watkins Ford, getting the photo of the vehicle.

We helped 4 people reinstate their drivers license today

We helped 4 people reinstate their licenses today. One lady came in to purchase insurance, and she didn't know her license was suspended, until I ran her Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) to issue the policy. That was bad news to her. I called the Alabama Drivers License Division, found out that it was due to an unpaid ticket from a missing headlight. She sent a money order to the County. She will get a reinstatement from the County, then take it to the Jacksonville State Troopers office for reinstatement. I was able to still issue her policy anway. She was really grateful for the help. She tried to give me a $25 tip, but I wouldn't take it. She feared that she would have to return her new car, since she didn't have a license, but she was happy when she left - knowing that she was getting her license back.

Another man knew his license was suspended due to child support, but it will be eligible for reinstatement next week. I was still able to issue the policy. I printed out a map to the Jacksonville State Troopers office from my web site (http://www.kerrywilson.com/sr-22.htm) and gave it to him. He was thankful for that information, because he did not know where to go, or how to get the license reinstated.

The other man - Josh helped. He had lost his license due to points but was eligible for reinstatement with an SR22. Josh issued the certificate for him and gave him a map to the Jacksonville State Troopers office.

We also had another man come in with a New York drivers license. We ran the MVR, and found out that his license was suspended. We called the Alabama D. L. dept., and found out that it was due to an unpaid ticket from New York. We still issued a policy for him, but he will need to contact New York and get a clearance before he can get an Alabama License.

Power and computers back up at Kerry Wilson Insurance

Downtown Gadsden, AL experienced high winds and power outages in last nights storm. The power at Kerry Wilson Insurance was out, causing our servers and work stations to go down. It took about an hour and a half to get all of them back up, but all of them are up and working now. I appreciate Carrie Hyatt's help.
